Un”Intelligent” Design
I was doing general TP on the net , when i came across this ‘Scopes Trial’ thing. This was about a teacher getting arrested in the 60’s in US for teaching evolution in schools.
It was just outrageous. This led to me reading about the whole Evolution Vs. Creationism argument.
Everywhere I read , every creationist would talk a lot about providing evidence and all , and then end up saying
“As per the Book Of Genesis….”
I couldn’t stop laughing at it. How gullible can someone be??
Bible and all the other “holy” books have been written by humans. They do carry a lot of good in them, but it is upto us to think logically and take what sounds right. We don’t have to follow it blindly. For me they are an older version of self-help books. This may sound blasphemous , but it isn’t. At least it isn’t supposed to be.
There are creationists saying all sorts of thing. Although most of it is pure crap, some of it carries a hint of racism and prejudiced behavior. Like the bit about “White man’s burden” and all. It’s surprising to find people like that , today.
Biggest mystery to me is , how someone who is educated can actually laugh in the face of logic and believe such Gobbeldegook.
